Operating on the principle of pneumatic stamping and cold riveting, the machine automates the installation of metal eyelets in tempered glass lids. The process begins with precise alignment of the glass lid’s handle mounting hole to the machine’s die, followed by automatic feeding of a metal eyelet. Driven by a high-force pneumatic system, the punch applies controlled, high-speed pressure to curl the eyelet’s bottom edge inward, creating a mechanical interlock with the glass substrate. This permanent, stress-distributing bond eliminates the risk of crack propagation at the handle hole.
